Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

Disassembled, cleaned, and reassembled the Mini 30. It was really easy, not sure why some people say it's difficult.

If you have a Cabala's around for an in store pickup this is an ok deal for 100 rounds. (7 1/2 cents a round) If not I'm not sure on shipping cost?

Palmetto State Armory has 150-round boxes of Federal 5.56 62 grain XM855 back in stock for $49.99.
Its a pretty good deal at $.33 cents per round. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index...m855bk150.html |

Ordered a LEO trade-in FN Hi Power earlier this afternoon from aimsurplus.com. This one has the steel frame, but they're sold out.
http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=F1FNHP But they do have some alloy frame (lightweight) Hi Powers for $100 more. http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.as...RE+Alloy+Frame |

Gun smithing porn pic.
New trigger group parts kit came in the mail. As soon as I tour it down, it was obvious the hammer catch on the old trigger was rounded out. I installed the new guts & the trigger was real gritty,so I yanked back apart, ran a 1500 grit stone over the angels on the hammer catch, & its real nice & crisp now. ......pic is the old hammer |
