My favorite toys, though, were inherited from my older brothers. Shogun Warriors. Holy cow. I loved these things, and they were like the gundam base for all my other action figures. These things were like two feet tall.

I inherited rocket hand from my brothers. Then I got Phoenix torso/axe arm later somehow. He was even more awesome because at that point I realized there were more than 1 of these toys. Never ever saw any of the others in the remainder of my life though until the internet came along and I could google image search them.

My brother had a ROTJ lunchbox with a thermos. If mom would have bought two used one and sold the other one about now, she could probably buy a car with it.

With all the rumors of a dark side superweapon, I was thinking about how cool the Star Forge would be to put in a movie.
http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Forge It's still a superweapon, but far away enough from being a Death Star that it wouldn't be seen as rehash material. ****ing awesome. Also, if the ancient sith character played by Serkis turned out to be a Rakatan, that would be bauce as **** too.

Making Knights of the Old Republic canon seems a little far-fetched to me.

Not necessarily. Old Republic-era is incredibly popular. During the prequel era, it was way more popular than the movies, and definitely had a greater lasting impact.

That's hit or miss, but I can live with it.
I CANNOT live with ****ing Maori Boba Fett. Also yes, Vader screaming NOOO is bad too. And so is Obi-Wan's replaced Krayt dragon call. God, a lot of stupid shit got even worse on the blurays. I had almost forgot. Basically I really like the cleanup on the special editions, and the new effects. But I hate a handful of the changes. At the same time, I'm not watching the originals because they kinda look like shit. ****ing Lucas.
