The Twins are in for a fun lil 3 games wouldn't you say?

My first game thread and the way things are going, I like the Royals odds this game.

Interesting fact for this game: Duffy is 3-0 with a 1.35 ERA in four career games at Target Field. Duffy has no explanation for his success there. "Just a coincidence, I'm guessing," he said. "I do like the park. It's really nice." This will be the first time Duffy will start in a team's home opener. "I just got to take the pill and throw it and keep it rolling for us," he said.

Game time - 3:10 PM

You can't post sarcasm and expect him to realize its a joke. We're talking about a guy who has recently posted multiple parody articles in DC thinking they were true...one he posted to make fun of the author for being so obviously wrong and another as a citation for a claim he was making.

I never suggested waiving the white flag. I suggested seeing if we could trade Shields and Holland for Oscar Taveras.

We were in that stage of purgatory near the deadline last year where you can either go for it or try and see what you can get for your expiring contracts.

I just saw the A's give Addison Russell for Jeff Samardzija.

Is this really that hard for you to comprehend?

And really? You, Mr. predicted us to win 80 games, is going to try and act like you saw us making the postseason last year around the deadline?

Is it fun for you to just get obliterated on here on a daily basis when you try and talk Royals baseball?

Trying to land the #2 overall prospect in baseball for 1/2 year of James Shields and 2.5 years of Greg Holland (when you have Davis and Herrera) would have been an epic steal and Dayton would have been universally congratulated for that trade.

...and that trade wouldn't have necessarily even been a punt. It would have depended on who we could have gotten to take Shields rotation spot.

but why do you keep bringing this up? Is this like the one Royals post I've made that you think you can "pwn" me on? Because if so, I'm just embarrassed for you.
