Off Season Lets Talk Guns
Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon? Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? Part 2: http://www.chiefsplanet.com/BB/showthread.php?t=293623 Last edited by Bearcat; 07-28-2015 at 06:06 PM.. |

Para's are pretty badass and I think Kimbers are overrated but that's JMHO.

I'm really considering pulling the trigger on the para I posted for 400 that's hard to beat. Anyone know what to expect when shipping guns? Price wise? My local ffl charges 25$

Buy it! I would expect shipping to be around $15. But I prefer to buy from vendors that have free shipping. |

Kimbers had a bad stretch when they adopted the external extractor. It was a piece of crap design and caused a lot of headaches. They dropped it though and went back to the internal design. I have two Kimbers, an 8 year old TLE and an Eclipse Pro I bought last year. Both are beasts and capable of much more accuracy then I am. They are as reliable as anything on the market as well. Just great shooting guns. |

I think that the companies over-manufactured certain parts. I have built up a healthy inventory of $50 stripped lowers and $80 M-16 BCG's since they were the hardest parts to come by during the great scare. It sure beats the $200 price I paid for them around a year ago. |

On a side note was at the local gun store and almost shat myself.i was gonna grab their box of federal .22lr copper coated until I saw the price 69.99 for 550. I paid a gouged 55 a few weeks ago for the same stuff and hate mud Self for doing it. This is flat highway robbery. The m422 and sr22 are getting out up it'll be cheaper to shoot 9mm and .556 at this rate.

Rem 700 muzzleloader
At close to $1300 I won't be in a hurry to play with one, but I like the primer/case design and the performance it appears to offer. The 700 platform is a favorite of mine as well, but damn that's a lot of coin considering there are several very accurate, and affordable, smoke poles on the market already.

I have had the Mini 14 on one of my internet tabs since last Friday. $700 free shipping. Cheapest I've come across. Synthetic stock, flash suppressor, 16" barrel. One day I'll pull the trigger and get it.
