Adrian Peterson Indicted

Reckless/negligent injury to a child. Indicted.

This league may not be able to sustain too many more of these black eyes. It's a mess.

Marcellus, if you're still reading this thread, do you care to respond to this video?

Carter said, "My mom did the best job she could raising 7 kids by her self, but there was some stuff she did that was WRONG."

Children who had to suffer through switch treatment and excessive discipline from their parents can absolutely forgive their parents for what they did and still love them. That's not the issue. But to say, "What are you going to do? Criticize the previous generations of your family?"

Yes. ****ing yes you should.

And you shouldn't casually say, "It's none of my business. AP went too far, but he was doing the best he could do as a parent."

AP is a ****ing moron who doesn't think for himself if his excuse is legit that he was only doing what his dad did to him. He didn't have a second thought in his mind whatsoever if going that far was good for the child OR himself. He deserves to ****ing go to jail for that shit.

I know you're not defending AP's actions, but to say, "Yeah, he went way too far, but he meant well," is a horrible way to look at children and how the should learn and grow to become good adults. I hope AP learns his lesson. I hope he gets a ****ing clue and decides to reform himself against the thing he's guilty of similar to the way Michael Vick now speaks out against dog fighting. But until that happens, we can't just sweep it under the rug and pretend that it never happened. Perhaps people who defend using a goddamn switch on a child can do that, but that just means they are equally as ****ed up and need to rethink their own beliefs about parenting.

That's Matt Cassel. All his Vikings stuff was still in the laundry, so he had to wear his old KC gear.

He's also the guy who tried to troll DC by posting a thread that denied the Holocaust.

I don't have a problem with his trolling, but I can see that there are others that do, particularly when he goes WAAAAY out there beyond the line.

Meh. Say what you want about AP but don't label my parents as anything like him. They did what they did because they love us and I know I turned out better because of their discipline.

I think both parties made gross mistakes.

I think, now, Ray Rice is going to pay for his mistake 10 times worse than what he should have paid.

So, you know...IMO he went from the ****ing idiot moron to the victim. It's pretty pathetic that Ray Rice could be the victim in this case. But IMO, he is. And I truly understand how unpopular that thought is.

I'm kind of interested in what her side of the story is in this case, tbh. Isn't it a little bit ironic that now that she's his wife that the leagues actions are hurting her because of what his dumbass did that hurt her?

I got the switch when I was a kid and I turned out fine. If you don't believe me just ask my probation officer and my psychologist. They'll vouch for me.

Once again...

You can still have just as much love for your parents regardless of how they disciplined you. You know and everybody knows that they were doing what they thought was the best option.

That doesn't mean they were right, though.

JHC lol he used a switch from a tree not a GD tree branch. Over dramatize from the announcers. I'm sure he whacked the kid too hard but don't believe it was with a tree branch. I got smacked with a belt it ****ing hurt because I put my hand to protect my butt and that was a mistake. LOL
