Yes because they all end up like that. I'm not saying Embiid shouldn't go pro. But there's no good reason to assume it would be worse for him next season if he were to stay. Yeah, just no reason to come back. He'll get full access to NBA coaches, trainers, weight programs, etc without worrying about going to class. Even if he did come back to show that he was healthy or just because he enjoyed school that much, he isn't going to improve his draft position.

Right. And I think he made the right decision. But I also don't blame guys like Smart who want to come back because maybe they feel that they have a shot a winning a title in the NCAA. Lord knows that they will most likely be on a bad team when drafted into the NBA. And who knows for how long?
