He's a very good QB. But he's not elite. Can you imagine that happening to Brady, Rodgers, Manning or hell, even Flacco?
brady was shut out in the second half just this past postseason by the ravens

Until Ryan actually wins something of value (other than 1 playoff game in 5 years, in which it game down to the final minute), I'll withhold calling him "Elite" or "Hall of Fame".

He's been a good regular season QB but hasn't performed in the post season. I can easily give him a pass his rookie season as a playoff QB but regardless of whatever statistic you or Saul or Queen drag up, the bottom line is that he couldn't score against the Giants and he couldn't score in the second half against the 49ers.
The Dolphins had some talent there.

In fact, Chad Pennington won like 11 games for them the following year.

Matt Ryan > Chad Pennington and it's not close.

If Chad Pennington didn't get hurt, Miami would have won a lot more games than with what they had to trot out there after he did.

I'm bored with looking for quotes because it's a bitch doing so from this
iPhone.

I'm tired of reading all the posts of yours on how Alex Smith and Matt Ryan are about the same player...blah blah blah.

If you don't think Matt Ryan is better than Pennington, I dint know what to tell you because that Miami team with Pennington was winning games and making the playoffs (same as Ryan has done in ATL) and to think they wouldn't have been better off with Ryan over Long is just flat out stupid.

wait we are talking about eli?

the point is that it happens to the best of them and isn't really something to prop up when trying to degrade a player.

and if you have no idea why did you ask if someone could imagine it happening to brady, manning, etc...

IT DID

Yeah, "Borderline Elite", which is what I've been saying ALL ALONG. He's NOT worth $20 million+ per year. He's in the $15-16 million per year range.

Good God, what the **** is wrong with you?
If Aaron Rodgers is worth 25 a year and Flacco is worth north of 20, how in the blue **** do you think Matt Ryan is only worth 15?

Was your account jacked or something?

1. You're bored because they don't exist.

2. Where have I ever stated that Alex Smith and Matt Ryan are equals?

Rodgers has won plenty of playoff games and won a Super Bowl.

Flacco has won playoff games in every season he's been in the league and won a Super Bowl.

Matt Ryan, despite having an enormously talented offense, has won a single playoff game.

THAT'S why.
