Tony Romo rumor

Gotta ask what do you guys think? There are strong rumors we are interested. I would love it if we got AJ MCCaron from Bengals.

What do you guys think

Without the best Oline in the league, I bet Romo shits his pants under pressure here... he's not exactly as mobile as Alex.

People should stop spazzing over Tony Romo potentially coming to KC.

That is a bold and daring move, the kind of move that the safe as milk Reid Chiefs would not undertake in 10 lifetimes.

My God, the sad list of QB's that poor Charles has had to work under; what an outstanding superstar that man has been under these conditions.

I guess it does go both ways with than. I've always gone with the idea as well that taking the other person out of the sentence helps determine which to use.

How much longer will our Oline have to protect with Romo as the QB and can they do it?

If they can't and Romo gets hit more often then he will die and acquiring Romo would turn out well.

WTF would we be talking about who has the quicker throwing motion?

The passing game that everyone around here hates also means that our Oline doesn't have to hold their blocks very long.
The question is, how often the pressure is getting to Smith on the plays that he is holding the ball, and my eyes tell me that his protection holds up for longer than that 2.38 seconds pretty consistently, which leads to him leaving the pocket due to phantom pressure.

Romo would stand in the pocket and make those plays that Alex is missing.

Anythings possible, Smith certainly bails sooner rather than later.

1. Will Andy Reid change his offense to fit Romo? Dink/Dunk is not Romo's game.

2. Can our Oline hold blocks longer to allow a deeper passing game?

3. Will Romo break in half after the first hit?

Would you rather trade for Romo or sign Cousins in FA?

I don't support either idea.

If Romo is released, I can support the idea of signing him, but we need to draft a QB early.

But, I also have no illusions about any of this.

Alex Smith is our QB for at least next season, and probably more.

You kids are funny... my comment was made with a view on 2017 and beyond. If I were going to roll dice on one of those 2, I'd roll them on Cutler as Romo is too brittle. In their careers, yes Romo has been better, but we're not talking monumental levels of greater success. Please continue to run with that comment however you like.

Romo has a broken back with one of the best lines in NFL history guarding him... him going ANYWHERE is a bad idea. Take the money and lets get rid of Aikman in the booth already.

Bingo. That's the worst thing about Smith. His pocket poise is non-existent.

Just got an ESPN update message that says Cowboys likely to release Romo unless they get an unbelievable trade offer which is unlikely.

He still won't be a Chief.

I think Texans are his best fit and they are a playoff team with shitty quarterbacks.

Chiefs are a playoff team with a polished shitty quarterback but they still won't take Tony Brokeback Romo.

If you like Tony Romo get it out of your idea that Chiefs will sign for him. Not happening.

Our owner does live in Dallas, does he not? He's probably heard of this Romo guy a time or two on his local evening news.

And hey, Ossweiler might benefit from spending some time learning from a really good quarterback.

Romo goes to Houston, Oss needs to buy a few burger joints so he'll have something to do after he can be released.
