@jazayerli: Wade Davis returning from a sore back and leaving a FB down the middle to Mike Trout: not concerning. Greg Holland all season: concerning.

Week for Davis, since Saturday for Holland. I'm sure it does **** with relievers not being in their normal roles. Hell Holland struck out the side on Saturday. So his downfall is a little overblown.

I was wondering what excuse he'd use. As the consummate players manager I knew he'd protect them.

Holland just shit himself after the leadoff single...you follow that up with a walk to the #8 guy then a ball in the dirt that gets past the Catcher.....

But that's the kind of shit we've seen from him this year particularly since the break.....and yes, it is worrisome because he has been borderline all season....

Ironically he went from his best outing Saturday to his worst outing today

If he can't get back to throwing 97-98 with control, he's cooked. Hitters will sit on his 94 FB and spit on his sliders which aren't even close to the zone anymore

It'll be interesting to see if he gives the bullpen this much time off again. One was more understandable, but I agree with Ned's after-the-fact revaluation that these guys need consistent work. Unfortunately he's the only one who can make sure this opinion there is followed-up on.

I think Ned learned a valuable lesson tonight too.. Woot, that's progress and we still have a huge lead in the division..

I am convinced Holland pitches better with regular work. The last blown save we came back and won on I believe was after an extended rest. The big boy needs to keep that arm warm I think. He is not the Holland of 2014 but he definitely is not as bad as tonight. Was just a freak 2 nights and proof they are human.

I still have hope for Holland.

Not worried about Davis at all.

Ready to get Rios and/or Infante the **** out of the lineup ASAP.
