The other conferences should have none of this. The Big X is trying to weasel their way to the big kids' table without having a conference championship game. Ironically, their making a concession reveals that even they assent to the fact that they have an unfair advantage. (And more ironically, if they'd had one last year it would have saved their playoff aspirations) Regardless, they are trying to take the most difficult game they'd play all year off their best team's schedule.

The major conferences should have none of this, and tell them that if they want a seat at the playoff table they need to play by the same rules as everyone else.

A 10 team conference that boasts 3 of the worst 8 football programs of all time should have no problem with other conferences asking their 'champion' to prove it.

I don't disagree, but you also have to take into account that, if this was in place last year, their one true champion lost to Michigan State In the bowl game.

Just to make you feel important, I'll respond to that which I was listed -

1) I thought that was common knowledge, especially around Lawrence?
2) The BCS WAS stupid. Might not be "the " reason it's gone now, but it certainly played a part. Having teams play for national championships that couldn't even win their conference even though computers had them ranked high = stupid on a massive scale.
3) The Chiefs passed on Dan Marino specifically due to his marijuana use in college, you ****ing pinhead. Really impacted Marino's career negatively, as well.

As to the rest, well, I don't see any kind of rebuttal from you for any of the points made.
