yes and understanding that all pepperoni is greasy - the relatively new round totino pepp, is much more greasy than that of most other pepperoni.

I saw the box with the round and thought the square must be gone... Those squares take me back to the late 70's and we would nuke those thinks in the Radar Range which cost more than a regular oven. It was the soggiest pizza, with the rubber over micro'd pepporoni squares, but you didn't know any better and it tasted great to a 12 year old...

I won't even re-heat previously good pizza in a microwave. The idea of trying to cook a frozen pizza in there is gag-inducing.

Microwaves are for re-heating things for children under 5 (this will no doubt move up as my children get older) and heating up cheese dip. I won't even thaw hamburger in there.

For god's sake, people - you are ingesting this shit, you might as well enjoy it. Get a $17 T-Fall skillet and a $30 toaster oven and there's virtually nothing that can be done in a microwave that won't be immeasurably better elsewhere. If you think you don't have time, stop reading when you shit and that will save you the 8 minutes you need to re-heat stuff on the stove.

Have some goddamn self-respect.

That was my point. They were originally marketed as Pizza for the radar range. A radar range was the first microwave. They were about 3' by 3' and cost more than a regular oven... Pizza wasn't accessible everywhere in the 70's. It was a good snack for us as we didn't know any better. My god... I would not even think about microwaving a pizza or even eating a Totinos today. I will bake a Jack's pizza from time to time, but usually add shredded cheese to it. My wife makes great homemade pizza, so we usually go that route.

I know. Not speaking to you specifically; obviously did not make that clear.

Doctoring a cheap frozen pizza can still turn out a pretty decent product. I use a kettle-pizza to grill a fair number of homemade pies so I always have pizza fixin's in the fridge. If you start with something that you like the sauce/crust on well enough, you can turn it into something pretty damn decent with very little effort.
