Jaguars - scales to 15 over 47 years. Saints - 17 Seahawks, Vikings, Panthers - 18 But there's a twist on the Jags that will be revealed shortly.

Redskins is a good guess, but not quite there. Those teams are all middle of the pack.
The answer to Q4 is: Bengals 32 Packers 31 Bears 27 The Bengals don't surprise me, but the other two teams do. I'm surprised by the Packers because they went 20 years without needing a second-string quarterback, so why did they keep drafting them? And the Bears must be absolutely terrible at drafting QBs. They've drafted 27 and I don't think we would recognize any of them. 2003 1 22 Rex Grossman 1999 1 12 Cade McNown 1987 1 26 Jim Harbaugh 1982 1 5 Jim McMahon 1973 2 33 Gary Huff 1990 3 63 Peter Tom Willis 2005 4 106 Kyle Orton 1992 4 107 Will Furrer 2011 5 160 Nathan Enderle 2004 5 148 Craig Krenzel 2014 6 183 David Fales 2010 6 181 Dan LeFevour 1970 6 133 Bobby Cutburth 1977 6 140 Vince Evans 1975 6 135 Bob Avellini 1998 7 232 Moses Moreno 1991 7 190 Paul Justin 1989 7 192 Brent Snyder 1971 7 167 Buddy Lee 1972 7 167 Jim Fassel 1984 9 244 Mark Casale 1981 10 260 Tim Clifford 1980 9 242 Turk Schonert 1974 17 420 Craig Holland 1974 13 316 Joe Barnes 1974 8 186 Alan Chadwick 1971 15 376 Ron Maciejowski

The Packers sure destroyed a lot of guys' careers by burying them behind Favre and not letting them start a single game.
But actually, several of those guys escaped. Aaron Rodgers, Aaron Brooks, Matt Hasselbeck, Mark Brunell, even Ty Detmer to some extent. The Packers were good at drafting backup quarterbacks. 2015 5 147 Brett Hundley 2012 7 243 B.J. You ready for draft points? Recall that I assumed every pick occurred in the middle of the round. Otherwise, the #1 picks would blow away the curve.
The Jaguars don't pick a lot of guys, but they're not averse to using first-round picks on them. If you scaled up the Jaguars to 47 years of drafts based on their current history, they would have the most first-round quarterbacks on the league. If I was going purely on draft points by individual pick, though, the Colts would blow away the league. They've drafted four #1 picks over the years, whereas no other team has more than two. The bottom end of the scale is really interesting as well. The Cowboys have had one of the best QB histories in the league from 1970, but they're mainstay QBs were drafted before my timeline (Staubach), one first-rounder (Aikman), and an undrafted free agent (Romo). The Giants have had a lot of Super Bowl success as well and they don't invest squat in QBs. Their only picks in the top two rounds have been Phil Simms and Phillip Rivers.
