Chiefs continuing to host QB prospects

Watson, Mahommes and Kizer all visited KC recently. Today it's Josh Dobbs per Jeremy Fowler.

IMO this is the QB the Chiefs will most likely draft.

The more public our interests are in a position the less likely we are to select it.

Yep. I remember him being a little bit more real in those bits, back when Jimmy Clausen was entering the draft...if memory serves me correctly, he was pretty harsh and truthful with him and other guys around that time. Now he's just kind of bubble-gummy.

Per Matt Miller, scouts and coaches love Dobbs. He's going to be a top 100 pick.

Also from that article, an NFL GM thinks the run on QB's will happen in the 20's. NFLN path to the draft talked about this last night and said there's too many big time talents to risk a QB in the top 15-20.

Expect a lot of teams to try to get a QB from 20-27

I'd be more excited if we could get Jones in the 3rd round....but I'm not sure that's possible. I know a lot of people would bitch if we drafted two non-starters with our first two picks.

Kizer seems to be more mature compared to Mahomes. Both have big arms ( although Kizer has bigger hands). Whether he can be coached to improve his accuracy remains a mystery but his athletic potential is certainly there.

Yea I can see the bitching already, but I personally would be fine with it because I'd be confident that Dorsey could find some guys that end up having an immediate impact with the rest of our picks.

I know you watch a lot of ND so I would like your opinion. What kind of scouting report would you give on Kizer?

I found this. Guy has a great arm and can scramble from what I can see.
