Great post. Montana's name gets thrown around a lot when talking about young QB's. In this case, I trust your opinion, so it is pretty exciting that they interviewed him.

Some Qb's have that special quality to come back and win games and it sounds like this kid has it.

So did Ken Dorsey. And AJ McCarron. John Elway never went to a bowl game. It's hard to measure that in CFB.

That sounds like a narrative to me.

I think people are high on him because he's probably the most ready to start QB and his issues are correctable.

I don't see why you couldn't install him into an Offense like Buffalo's and have a chance to be a WildCard squad.

He is athletic and he won in college! But to your point so did Vince Young,Michael Vick,EJ Emmanuel,J Russell and the list goes on.........

I see your point, and it is a good one.
However, Watson didn't just win a lot of games the way Dorsey and McCarran did.
He seemed to take over games at crucial moments, leading his team to comeback wins against some of the stiffest competition college football has to offer.

The perfect example of what people like to call clutch.

Watson definitely has the "it factor" dudes clutch in key situations watch the FSU games the past 2 years or Alabama game this year. What sets him apart from the guys you mentioned is a better arm and way more athletic.
