As was mentioned in my original post, he hypes him up then feels we would trade a third. If he is everything the writer expects, we would haul in at least two picks. The demand of the writer doesn't meet the market he is explaining. That is all I was saying, and that somehow flew right past you.

And to further prove my point, what netted him being a 5th round pick was his knee injury. Trying to justify this writers insanity of "he is a future hero, and we can get him cheap" is redundant. Keep sticking with it though; it's quite entertaining.
