The playoff picture

Right now the Chiefs are in the #5 slot against, believe it or not, the Indianapolis Colts. Talk about picking at a scab.

Obviously, the Chiefs need to keep winning, but looking at the other wild card contenders, I thought it was interesting that the Chiefs have the first tiebreaker against every team they've played that's in the hunt.

The wildcard contenders are:

#6 - Texans (Chiefs won head to head)
#7 - Jets - no game this year
#8 - Steelers (Chiefs won head to head)
#9 - Raiders - two games coming up
#10 - Bills (Chiefs won head to head)

It seems like we want the Texans to lose the weak South Division to the Colts so we can keep that tiebreaker, though of course I'd prefer the Jaguars to storm back and knock the Colts out. Screw the Colts.

None of the teams in the playoffs right now are out of the Chiefs' league. The Bengals and Patriots probably rightfully own the #1 and #2 seeds, but they're both beatable.

FWIW, he didn't look "awful" on Sunday night, nor the week before, nor the half of football he played against us in their loss.

I'm not saying he's a world beater, but I don't think he's "awful".

Yeah, he seems to run Kubiaks offense pretty well so far. He's gonna make mistakes, but he's far from being Mark Cassel so far. That said I hope teams get some tape in him and crush his soul!!

I try to be very objective about the Broncos, so I'll admit it. Osweiler is already a far better quarterback than Elway ever was.

We're going to make it to the AFCCG.

I don't see us going into NE and winning a playoff game there, but it's possible.

Indy, Jacksonville, Pittsburgh, Cincinatti...we would beat those teams.

I'd love to get a game against Denver, though.

In the second round, preferably.

Lets just say he doesn't suck nearly as bad as I had hoped. And he's young. Plenty of time to grow up. Just hoping it's because he's newer and less known.
