But there are simple ways around it to watch the game, all you need is Google Chrome and Zenmate. Both free. And you can watch whatever KU game you want, for free, on your computer.
Zenmate has not worked for me this year. It did last year.

I think after what Selden showed in the World University games that he can be a star. He's just got to get over that bumb ankle.

Well I do watch college hoops. I love football but I play a lot of basketball and I love to watch it, as well. Also, I don't know about the rest of college hoops but there's a reason why most of Kansas games are regional or national broadcasts on ESPN, CBS, etc.

I'd also like to see a link to the stats you cite.

Did anyone watch the Washington vs Texas game? Evidently it was played in China. I checked the recap, and there were 62 fouls called and 88 free throws shot.

Texas was 19-73 from the field (2-15 from deep)
Washington was 25-72 (3-20)

That's a combined 44-145 from the floor (30%)

7 players fouled out

77-71 Washington

That sounds like an incredibly ugly game. Not surprising for Texas considering Shaka Smart is now their coach. I'm not sure who is Washington's coach.

He's been slapped down repeatedly but it doesn't do any good. You have to understand the hatred KU basketball engenders across the entire center of the country.

Re: Selden, I watched ESPN Classic of our 2013 game vs ISU (McLemore banks in the 3 at the buzzer to go to OT where we win). I forgot how great he was offensively. Selden can't dream of that type of output but he can pass and defend extremely well. That's what he should do this year. If he puts up 15 shots per game it won't work. (He was like 6-24 vs Germany)

It wore on me last season... "only" 59 fouls in KU's opener, some games seem NFL-like, <10 seconds of action between whistles. And well, November CBB can be pretty ugly, even though some of the matchups are worth watching.

Obviously, major fan bases watch their teams (Kansas, North Carolina, Duke, Kentucky, Indiana, etc.) from all over the country, but we were discussing national viewership ratings, as a whole. REGULAR SEASON college basketball games get very low national viewership ratings. This is well known. If you want the stats, ask P.B. I'm pretty sure he has them all memorized.

The NFL has pretty much succeeded in killing the quality of it's product with officiating. College basketball is following in their footsteps.
