Not really.

Jason Gesser was a tremendous college QB for Wazzu. He was better than Carson Palmer the year Palmer won the Heisman, in fact beating him head to head. His style of play and not so great O-Line led to him having lots of injuries. Basically played on one leg to ensure WSU beat UCLA to win the Pac-10 title and Rose Bowl berth. He basically retired after college do to injury.
