Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Their 1-2. They've played GB & Denver who are 3-0. The season is not over at all. Reid's been around long enough to adjust.

They ain't winning with Alex Smith. Expect nothing and try to keep yourself happy.

The season is done. They'll finish 7-9 to 9-7 and idiots will think we need WR X or OL Y to win the division next year because don't you know Manning is retiring and this will be the FOURTH year in the system for Alex he's gonna explooooooooooooooode and bundle of sticksas[dssdvfsdd

We have sucked in the second half the past two years. I am not confident we can dig out of any kind of a hole at all.

nah

we'll beat the shitty teams

but we aren't winning a playoff game ... and probably only have a 20% chance to make the playoffs, at best

but season isn't over ...we'll probably be like 7-6 with 3 to go and something will happen like the Denver game and blah blah blah blah

I'm not going to bring sunshine and rainbows, because nobody is interested in that and I'm not interested in dealing it. Alex Smith is god-awful, but I still think this is a good team.

1-2 sucks, yeah....but there's still a shot at 2-2 next week in Cincy. Sean Smith is back in the lineup, so the defense (theoretically!) should be better. We all knew that having Smith out against a pair of Hall-of-Famers was going to be AIDS. After Cincinnati, the schedule gets considerably lighter the rest of the way.

Hard to be an optimist right now, I get that...but the season isn't over.

Pessimist Sorter would like to point out that the Chiefs are playing on the road and the Bengals have a damn good roster.

It gets scary? Give me a ****ing break.
Chicago
Detroit
Minnesota
Baltimore
San Diego twice
Tennessee
Cleveland
Pittsburgh minus big ben
And until they really price themselves Oakland is still oakland

Typical chicken little bullshit that you actually think the chiefs will win less than a handful of those. I don't know what nfl games you've been watching, but most of those teams have looked much worse than the chiefs.

The overreaction in this place is always hilarious and you're the king of it. The chiefs will probably hover around. 500 and are a bubble playoff team.
