Both of our lines were brutalized last year. It was embarrassing. Total domination at the LOS. Doubt that happens this year.

Problem is it wasn't just a SS DUI.. He also damaged property whilst driving drunk... So given the drumhead nature of Goodell's punishments he had every "right" to go above and beyond what was the previous disciplinary procedure.

There was no way to know Goodell would lose more in court than the Browns do on the field...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

Broncos | Peyton Manning's legs not cooperating

Tue, 15 Sep 2015 10:33:52 -0700

Denver Broncos QB Peyton Manning's biggest problem in the new offense is his legs and not his arm. Head coach Gary Kubiak's new offensive system doesn't help, either, as it doesn't allow Manning to set his feet regularly

This is embarrassing - we Have to win this game.
It IS embarrassing, which is exactly why we will lose. It's part of this team's DNA to embarrass their fans at least once a year. This figures to be that game in my mind. Everyone knows how to beat Manning now and I think most strong defenses will. We SHOULD be able to do what is necessary to beat him, but we won't. It'll be inexplicable how the vaunted Chiefs pass rush couldn't get a single sack. Manning will hit those deep passes he's missed all year. The media will question whether rumors of Manning's demise are exaggerated. Then the Lions will absolutely dominate him by doing exactly what the Chiefs are supposed to be good at and the conversations will shift back to when Osweiler is going to start playing and we'll get back to playing strong defense against every other QB we face.

I hope I'm wrong but history is not on our side.
