you have literally got to be FIST ****ing me

sorry, my phone died while I was at Hooters

that was THE WORST PLAYCALL in the history of the NFL

I will never, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever, ever in the history of my life understand how, what, why or .... that just happened.

Belichick doesn't call a timeout, WORST DECISION EVER (before the next play), ESSENTIALLY WAVES THE WHITE FLAG, and then the hawks, with a timeout, DECIDE TO LINE UP IN SHOTGUN AND THROW THE BALL INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE FIELD WHEN THEY ARE 2ND AND GOAL FROM THE 1 WITH THE BEST RUNNING QB IN THE NFL AND THE BEST POWER RUNNER IN THE NFL?!

What are the actual odds of Marshawn not scoring from the 1 on the next 2 plays?

1%

are
you
****ing
kidding
me

???

Like.

What?

omg

I cannot believe the Seahawks just HANDED a legacy game to the Patriots ... literally.

That was the worst ****ing thing I've ever seen. Ever. Ever. OMFG

and, thankfully, I didn't hedge ... you know, because I'm a ****ing idiot

really

really?

someone will have to explain to me how they thought shotgun, 2nd and goal, from the 1 ... and a slant RIGHT INTO THE HEART OF THE DEFENSE was a good ****ing playcall?!

omg

it is literally the worst play call of all time and there isn't even a 2nd place

or a 3rd place

or a 4th

HOW IN THE **** DO YOU RUN THAT PLAY?

And completing nearly 50% of your passes for less than 250 yards, and throwing a game losing pick isn't doing a tremendous, or fantastic job.
We all know it was a shit pass on a horrible play call.

This isn't on Russell Wilson and if anyone TRULY thinks that they are a ****ing idiot.

I'm totally with Hoot here on the situational football from the NE defense point of view.

I was screaming for NE to call a timeout, and let them score. That's what makes the Seahawks **** up even worse.

I will remember it. I said the same thing when it happened live. I couldn't believe he wasn't calling a time out. But to be fair, if the miracle catch isn't made 2 plays before they're not even in that position to **** that up

But I was laughing at the madden reference.

you guys are ****ing morons

anyone who watched that game and concluded Russell Wilson played poorly is just a dumbass

plain and simple

Tom played a great 4th quarter ... very impressive. Russell played a great game.

No one will remember two things:

The non-call DPI when the Pats defender tripped ... that play could have easily been a huge gain (40 yards or so) and if they kicked a FG, it probably would have been game over.

And the Belichick non timeout call.

It's inexplicable.

I literally have never seen anything like that. As someone who has OBSESSIVELY watched the NFL for MY ENTIRE LIFE I have never seen ANYTHING remotely close to that.

I can't think of 1 team that would have EVER thrown a pass on that down. In that situation. With that personnel. It makes no sense.

I still can't understand it. It was like Chinese to me. It doesn't make any sense.

Don't forget it took the luckiest pull it out of your ass reception for Seattle to even have a chance.

Denver had a pretty good QB. They also had a pretty good RB in a similar situation in the superbowl against Green Bay. Does anyone remember what they did?

It's not about "putting the ball in the hands of an elite QB". It's realizing what's a reasonable call with a strong run game from the one yard line. Especially when a smart coach would run the clock out so the other team can't score.
