VARSITY
How San Diego TOTALLY ****ed us.

I have a theory, actually a hypothesis since I can't test it. I think the San Diego game was the worst loss in recent team history. Not because we lost mind you, but because we barely lost with our backups. Its the only thing that explains Dorsey's complete lack of off season moves and then sudden burst of FA crap fest this week.

Dorsey must have convinced himself that we were deep and ready to win with the next man. How he didn't see the trend of 2-6 would be surprising. But then, maybe he's just not very good at what he's doing.

He made three good picks. Haley had to force the first of the three (Berry), he lucked into the second because of marijuana's taboo status in America (Houston) and looks to have gotten supremely lucky with the third (Poe).

Well most of the probowlers on this team are/were from the DV/Herm era's

Derrick Johnson
Branden Albert
Jamaal Charles
Dwayne Bowe
Tamba Hali
Dustin Colquitt
Brandon Flowers

Justin Houston, Eric Berry, Dontari Poe and Dexter McCluster are the only 3 Pioli can have credit for. And to be honest, one was a no-brainer pick (Berry), (Houston) was a 1st rd pick that was giftwrapped for us in the 3rd rd all because of a little pot. And the other (McCluster) only panned out because of his KR abilities, which give more credit to Dave Toub than anyone else really for that success. Otherwise he was dogshit on the field.

I'll give him credit for Poe. Although we should have sucked for Luck the previous season. There's no question Haley was trying to do just that. I dont care what you tell me, you simply don't start Tyler Palko expecting to win reg season games in the NFL.

I've always thought the Chiefs were over represented in the 2014 Pro Bowl. How can a 2-14 team have 10 players in the Pro Bowl?!?

Maybe because our 2013-14 record was 11-5?

If he was that serious about tanking, then he never would have taken the job in the first place.

I think he played Palko because he knew he was a goner anyway and wanted to give Scott and Clark the finger... and because he had some weird projection of himself in Palko.

Regardless of who drafted them, all those pieces were in place when Dorsey got here. It wasn't exactly a dumpster fire of a roster.

It's kind of hard to forget when almost all of your post are about how the Chargers have beat the Chiefs the last 2 billion times they played each other.
