He is fine as a utility infielder but it makes no sense to use him this early in the season in place of Hoz or at 1st base. Hoz already had two days off against the Phillies.

If Ned is going to sit someone, it should be Moose. He hasn't hit worth a **** all year yet.

And even saying that, neither one of those guys should be sat. Get them some quality at-bats against quality pitching. It's the only way they're going to grow as hitters.

Tejada is a former SS who now plays 2nd base...

any player in the history of MLB who can play SS, and play it at the high level Tejada once played it at...can play 1B...and probably play it better than 70% of the 1B playing it in the game.

It's the ****ing easiest position in baseball...other than LF (and that's a maybe).

No one here said **** about him playing defense. It is a poor decision to sit Hosmer so early in the season so much if we want a younger guy to develop. Tejada is done developing.....
