Atlanta making a play for Calvin Johnson would make sense, since he's from Atlanta and all.

Then again, it also makes sense because they like to get killed to trade up to the top of the draft.

I've said this for two years now.

Carr shares the blame for the number of sacks and hits he takes.
He holds onto the ball too long, a weakness to his game that was discussed by some draft sites when he was drafted.

The Texans have worked to retrain him, to get him to make quicker decisions and get rid of the ball quicker, but he just doesn't get it.

No ****ing way I want Carr in KC.

Yeah, except for the fact that he's been in a less complicated system.

I believe that Joe Pendry was his OC for a year or two, and systems don't get any easier than Pendry's.

HOLY SHAT!

" League and team sources confirmed that Schaub has signed a six-year, $48 million contract with the Texans, a move that officially consummates the trade. As part of the deal, Schaub -- who played golf with Houston coach Gary Kubiak on Monday in a get-acquainted session, the Houston Chronicle reported -- will receive $7 million in guarantees. Schaub, 25, will earn roughly $20 million in the first three years of the contract. After the first three years, the Texans must pay Schaub a $10 million option bonus in March 2010 to trigger the final three seasons of the contract, or he becomes a free agent. "

Interesting from Rotoworld

Matt Schaub-QB- Texans Mar. 23 - 9:41 am et

The Texans reportedly added a second second-round pick to their package for Matt Schaub because Oakland was after him.

Very interesting. The Raiders offensive coordinator is Greg Knapp, who coach Schaub in Oakland. The attempt to acquire Schaub could indicate that the Raiders aren't sold on drafting a quarterback with the first overall pick.
