150 of the 172 arrested are still in Jail. Pretty sure there are gonna be some serious lawsuits come out of this......or maybe not if they all accept deals?

More than 150 bikers arrested in connection with the deadly shootout at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco last month are still being held in jail weeks after the shooting.

Of the 177 people arrested on May 17, 152 remain in McLennan County Jail, McLennan County Sheriff's Capt. John Kolinek said in a phone interview Tuesday.

At least 114 of those remaining in jail have been charged with engaging in organized criminal activity, according to online jail records. Many are being held on $1 million bonds.

At least 25 have bonded out in the more than two weeks since being processed, but more are expected to be released on lowered bonds.

Among those released so far are Morgan and William English, a couple who claims they had no part in the violence that left nine people dead and 18 wounded.

"They made us all feel like animals, like they herded us," Morgan English told WFAA.

The lowered bonds have been the subject of rumors spread on the Web in the past few days: Two lawyers are pointing fingers at one another as the source of one rumor claiming that McLennan County officials told inmates that they would need to waive their rights to sue the city of Waco and the county in order to obtain lower bonds.

"I've never seen anything like the lawlessness that the authorities have perpetrated on these people, and now to add insult to injury, they are trying to cover their own tracks in exchange for bond," Houston lawyer Paul Looney claimed in a Facebook post on Sunday.

Looney backtracked after officials denied the allegations, the Waco Tribune-Herald reported, and blamed Waco lawyer Brittany Lannen in another Facebook post on Monday for informing him of the rumor.

Lannen then denied this in a statement to the Tribune-Herald, claiming she first heard about the rumor from Looney's original Facebook post.
