Gronks a party dude... He is not a competitor like Peters supposedly is. I've never seen Gronk throw a temper tantrum on the sidelines or curse at a fan in the stands because he is 'highly competitive' as Reid described Peters.

As far as Brady defending Gronk, ehhh, that's his friend.. I'd expect that. That doesn't mean Brady would ever be laughing it up a with a friend from the Pats most hated rival after a tough loss like we just had. It'd never happen.

I understand Peters is good friends with Lynch. I'm not saying cut the guy because of it. But I know how I felt after that loss. No way in hell I'd be talking to a friend from the Raiders. I turned my phone off and wouldn't talk to anyone and I don't even play. If Peters gets so upset during the gms how the hell is not upset after that loss?

I'm just saying I'm not buying the whole 'he yells and throws temper tantrums because he is a highly competitive guy' bulls**t. He does that stuff because he is a thug just like Lynch.

That's not true. Some of these guys take the losses just as hard as fans like us do. Look at this quote from Berry. It took him A WEEK to get over the Colts playoff loss

Nothing takes the sting out of a brutal playoff loss like week on the beach on the beach ... so says Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry, who tells us he went straight to the tropics after KC's devastating 1st round defeat to the Colts.

"I threw a tantrum for about a week then went to Hawaii with my loved ones," Berry says.

http://www.tmz.com/2014/02/09/kc-chi...f-loss-hawaii/

Again my issue w Peters is not so much he is out partying w Lynch after the game it's that if you are going to throw tantrums on the sideline and curse at our defensive coordinator because you want to win so bad I'd think you'd be a little more upset after that loss. If you are going to do that w Lynch then stop with the tantrums on the damn sideline. It's just a game right?

I understand dropping extra guys into coverage because we're not getting there with the pass rush anyway, I just don't understand the insistence on NOT putting Peters on the #1 every play. We're always in man outside anyway what's the difference?

Exactly. Peters needs to shadow the #1. We are not the Seahawks. We do not have their talent on defense to keep him on one side. I defended that strategy before but after seeing what Cooper did to us. It has to change.

Hopefully Sutton will make some adjustments. Luckily for us it is still early in the season.

Does it matter? When Crabtree got his chance at Mitchell, he got him for a 17-yard catch and a game-winning TD

Of course he's grateful to him.
He lived with Lynch when he was in college. He's more like a brother to the guy. Would folks be weird about it if Jason and Travis Kelce had dinner after a game?

Then again that's why I say you can't care more than they do.

I didn't notice a whistle on the tv, so I personally don't have a problem with the hit. Maybe the whistle blew much earlier than I realize.
Agree, Carr go the RTP call because of his injuries. There was a whistle, technically, before the hit, but it wasn't three steps after the whistle, he was in the process of the hit when the whistle happened.

Hey, I hate Peters, but I'm fair.

The negativity about Peters on here is due in large part to the whole anthem thing.

He is still considered a top 5 corner. Those dont grow on trees but some on here are saying who cares? Who needs him? WE NEED HIM!
Hey, you're right, he's the bundle of sticks who kneels like the bitch he is.

Peters doesn’t play again till next Monday. He’s in his home town with his best friend. As long as he reports to Arrowhead at whatever time coaches have set then so what? Most of the replies in this thread are so absurd and disconnected from reality.
