Really I think they are all that way.

For the most part I haven't seen an increase in crime or anything. But I can't speak for other areas.

I can say in my town the plant wouldn't survive without immigrants. Town of less than 2000, the plant has over 1000 employees. If the plant wasn't here the town would be gone. My only wish with all of it is that the employers that bring them here would help them get acclimated, and help people in the service industry help them. Help us with translators, etc. They really don't do much that I have seen.

They responded to a woman screaming on the phone, they were trying to subdue him not knowing if he was going to shoot everyone in the house or what was going on.

I thought maybe we weren’t getting correct info at first when I heard this. But it turns out it was correct. I can’t imagine that’s protocol, but you never know..

Also, I’ll be interested to know the role of a the “screaming voices” on the phone.

One of the voices was arrested, drug possession (meth)...I'm sure it was a fight and they called 911 and it went downhill from there.

County was en route to serve papers or a warrant (not clear yet) at that residence when the shooting started.

Typical druggie/shitbag domestic incident that turned tragic...

BTW it's not like the officers rushed inside all gung ho...once Ofc. Morton was shot and wounded, he fell inside and was trapped.

So now you have possible hostages and a wounded officer inside the residence.

They made entry and were trying to get him out and subdue the suspect....

They were like on the porch...they took fire there immediately, I think Ofc. Morton collapsed inside and crawled to a bedroom, the others followed trying to get him out and were pegged back by being wounded and that's when the standoff started...
