The jury is still out on Murray but to say he's Mike Elkins or Matt Blundin is misguided.
I just specifically said I wasn't talking about his ability to succeed.

I'm talking about the plans that the kc front office has for him. It's a bullshit narrative that they have any intention of him ever being the Chiefs starter.

I call bullshit.

Because every thing 49ers fans have claimed about Alex Smith has turned out to be bullshit.

"Limited by Harbaugh" - bullshit
"Smart, always checks into the most advantageous play" - bullshit
"Really, really accurate" - bullshit
"Can throw downfield when he needs to, just doesn't much" - bullshit
"He's a leader!" - bullshit
and so on.

Even if the Chiefs take a shit this season and finish 4-12.

What the hell does Clark do? The most that will happen is Reid and Sutton being fired, and that isn't fixing the crux of the problem. We're still stuck with AS. Clark isn't unloading him. He won't take that cap hit.

We have to ride this out, unfortunately.

I know, I was just embellishing and used Taylor, who'd been cut by the Ravens, as an example.

I would cut him immediately. **** it. ride with daniels and if he cant do it play the ****in season out with murray. if either of them cant handle starting in the nfl then, well, we found out, draft 2 more this coming draft and sign a vet. let the winner start.

wont happen though. were stuck with smith to ride this out and continue to be in nfl hell.

You're dead wrong. Reid will go nowhere, and most likely Sutton won't either. Clark would absolutely dump AS and take the cap hit. He'll do whatever the **** his GM and coach tell him too. To pretend the guy is cheap, or doesn't give a **** about this team is ****ing stupid. He's PROVEN himself as an owner that gives a shit about this town, and this team. All of his hires since taking charge have been top tier hires. The first one was an abortion that no one could have seen coming. This one is still way up in the air. That said, this is a perfect post for my thread, so I thank you for it.

Alex isn't going anywhere. The cap hit is too large.

We're all going to look like this in six months:

He can be cut next season and we'd only lose $7 million cap space.
