Crying babies in a restaurant
What is your take on them? Should a parent get up and have to leave if a baby is wailing away? Does it depend on the restaurant? Does it depend on the amount of wailing?

I hate hearing crying kids. I don't have any so I don't want to hear them. Even my wife's dog is old so yes I old and grumpy and she agrees with us. She can't stand the them either to a point.

Tons of businesses do. A lot of non-chain sit down [certainly the romantic ones] restaurants have a NO child policy.

Everyone thought business would go to shit with the smoking bans, and all it's done is increase in most places.

Never brought my kids to a nice restaurant with the wife and the places we went to for that I never experienced a crying kid. But if it's not fine dining then all bets are off.
When i was single the sound of a crying baby was the worst. After having a couple of kids now I am just happy it is someone else's problem not mine so it doesn't bother me much.
