Sort of like PB and tiger board, he follows the SEC as if his school were a member

After today it's obvious even to SEC fans I would think that their conference is just like anyone else's. Should be a fun year of college football for everyone.

The SEC has 8 Top 25 teams and all but 1 won (with the lone loser losing to another Top 25 SEC team). The SEC also didn't drop a game to an FCS opponent.

This.

The SEC is still the premiere conference in college football.

Have they come back to the pack a little, so to speak, where they are no longer lapping the competition? Sure. But make no mistake about it; they are still the best. This will play itself out over the course of the season.

Just like it has done for the last 8 years.

When has the sec "lapped the competition"? I want to see your evidence of such an absurd claim. The data (and bowl records) clearly shows they havent lapped anybody. Has the top team in the league won the title several recent years? Yep. But what, again, does that have to do with te entire league?

Bama and LSU (and at times Florida) have lapped the field - that's what you meant to say.

So you're not denying that the Big XII (-2) sucks, it just doesn't suck as much as people are led to believe?

The SEC hasn't lapped anybody, because their bottom half has traditionally (and recently) been a national joke.

The bottom half has been a "NATIONAL joke" you say! What teams are you implicating to be a laughingstock on a national level from the SEC?

And what would you consider KU football? A national joke as well?

lol

Five seasons ago, KU football started a fall that continues today

After the worst four-year stretch in school history — a 9-39 record and just two Big 12 victories — a head coach coming off a 3-9 season was telling the fans to stop being so negative.

“When I look at the Kansas program,” one former KU player says, “I just scratch my head.”
