You do know how single elimination 7 round tournaments work right? You aren't supposed to win them very often. It's math. This isn't the BCS or 4-team college football playoff. The NCAA Tournament is a fun way to crown a champion, which gets alot of media attention. Yes, it's the thing we all strive for but fans of college basketball blue bloods appreciate how hard it is to win it.

I'm not sure what the deal is? I'm sure they in part take their cues from Greg(?)

My guess is that this uptick of phoney bravado fans were latch on fans who adopted K-St because the Shockers had nothing to crow about in football or basketball. Thus, with the Shockers uptick in success, they already had animosity towards KU that carried over, and only exacerbated by their HC suffering from foot in mouth disease.
