Looking at downloading one of the following for me and the kid to play this weekend. Anyone with experience with any of these, I'd love to hear it. I'll rank them in order of my personal interest:
Child of Light Guacamelee Steamworld Dig Shovel Knight

Child of Light and Shovel Knight are both reeeeeeeeeeally good. Guacamelee is ridiculously hard but rewarding. I'd say go with Shovel Knight.

Shovel Knight is the only one that holds any appeal for me, and I have seen nothing but positive reviews on it. I havent tried it~

Due to his obsession with Minecraft and Terraria, we went with Steamworld Dig. It's pretty danged fun. He likes the leveling and such. I really wanted to get Child of Light, but he's totally put off by female protagonists and sees it as girly.
I may DL Child of Light for myself. He and I will do Shovel Knight next.

finally broke open Battlefield 4 yesterday. It's been forever since I played a FPS so I went ahead and played the campaign........shit you not, I finished it in probably 5 hours. And, had no idea what the 'plot' of the campaign was. between all the characters, and the shitty audio.....I literally didn't know what the hell was going on. but.......this game isn't about the campaign experience. Hopeful to try out MP maybe this afternoon.

Thinking of picking up Dragon Age: Inquisition...want a beefy RPG to dive into. Anyone here have it or played it? Thoughts? |

luckily, the wife picked up BF4 for only $20 new. I would be pretty pissed if I spent $60 on that game. $20 is about right.
