I'm finding this constant negativity tiresome. We have sucked for years. We were an embarrassment. A big ****ing joke. I'm done with the negativity.

I wanted Geno. I think we overpaid for Smith. I'm scratching my head over some of their moves.

Reid and Dorsey obviously have a plan. For crissakes, Reid watched every down of every player for the whole ****ing year before he even met with Clark. I'm going to give them AT LEAST a half a season before I start calling them dumb-asses and screaming for their head.

I don't think I'm accepting mediocrity by choosing to not scream and yell and be totally pissed off by the moves so far. If you think so, you are entitled to you opinion.

I was an early and financial supporter of SOC. Season ticket holder for years. I think anyone would label me a hard core Chiefs fan. Just like most of the posters on this board. We deserve better than we have been given by our team. I will be a Chiefs fan until I become worm food. Lifes too short to go around pissed all the time. I did enough of that the last few years.

I'm going to chose to hope that Reid and Dorseys plan is sound and will result in the return of winning football and our first playoff win since the Montana era. Who's with me?

Also, it's like people have selective amnesia, no matter how often you remind them, they forget that one of those winning seasons was against the weakest schedule in the history of the league. They might as well have been in the Big 12. And every good team they chanced across, they lost to big time.

My bad. You're right. He won one and lost another on OT. Well, I mean the team did on both counts. Still, a ton more than Matty.

The evidence says Alex is going to be mediocre. I'm hoping it's wrong but I hoped the evidence was wrong about Pioli, Cassel, vermiel, herm, Gunther...

Smith wasn't the backup QB. This is more like the Montana trade than Grbac in that way.

I like everything they did so far except trading for Alex Smith...and that was just because of how much we gave up...I said before the trade I'd be just fine trading a third or fourth for him. If the Alex Smith acquisition doesn't prohibit our further pursuit of other quality players at the position, I'm fine with it.

If they draft Geno Smith and stack the QB position, the excitement around the team will be higher than I've seen since Montana.

Trading two high round picks for Alex Smith was incredibly inept.

Not as bad as the Cassel trade perhaps, but pretty damned bad.

If that's the centerpiece move a new FO makes then it doesn't leave a lot of room for error in future decisions.
