They’ll get it done this weekend, and hopefully grab Williams before he visits anywhere

It's the ideal situation because it would be a win-win for both orgs... The Colts wouldn't actually lose a draft pick and the Chiefs get close to where they need to be to get that LT.

My inclination is to keep him because the three peat is so important and he is a very big part of our dominant defense. With the brown signing, and that we will not have Tony and Moore screwing up the offence, I think that’s the safest bet for us to threepeat.
But if we could get there number 1 pick at 15 and a long-term solution at left tackle I guess the risk to our threepeat would be acceptable, and it would certainly be good longterm. I don’t think getting their number 2 pick is good enough and I really doubt we could combine it with our number 1 pick to trade down far enough to get a good OT. |

If its not Sneed + 32 for 15, where we can use some of our other capital to maybe get to 9 for a LT... then what's the point? At this point, I'd almost rather keep Sneed to go for that 3-peat if all I'm getting is a mid-2nd. |

Veach could then turn around and package #15+2025 1st and grab Joe Alt at #7 with Titans.

Yes, but it’s all dependent on getting Indianapolis number 15 pick, not their second rounder.
Someone pointed out in a post the other day that one of the reasons New England wasn’t able to three peat was that they cut Tylaw for salary cap reasons. Let’s not us lose an exceptional cornerback at such a critical time unless it’s really worth it. |

Like, was it really that ****ing necessary to cut Lawyer Milloy a week before the season like that? Everybody gave respect to the Patriots for truly running things like a business, but there are times where I believe the decision-makers in charge of running the franchise actually got a high from those tough business cuts. Like some sort of deranged surgeon who loves amputating limbs and uses it as a first form of treatment even when there are less invasive methods of curing the patient. Anyway, the point is no, it's not the same thing as the Patriots and Ty Law. We're getting something back in return. |
