Small things in life that gravel your ass

What are some things in life that are really not that big of a deal in the big picture, but just piss you off?

My example of the day:

The dogs were barking at something today out in the alley, so I went outside to find out what the hell was going on. Some Slippery Larry contractor was back there unloading a bunch of shit into my city garbage container.

Me: Hey there strokestick, are you my new neighbor or something?

Slippery Larry: No

Me: Yeah, I knew that, then why are you dumping your crap out into my garbage container? I have plans to clean out the garage and am going to need the space.

Slippery Larry: I don't know.

Me: Do you live in a house, do YOU have a garbage container?

Slippery Larry: Yes, but it's full, so I'm dumping it in here.

Me: No, no you're not, try the city dump. Don't let me ever catch you back here pulling the bullshit again, or we are going to have a big problem.

At that point, he high tailed it out of there.

Like I said, it wasn't like the guy was back there trying to break into my shop, but it rubbed me the wrong way.

TWO AGGRAVATIONS IN JUST ONE DAY WITHIN A FEW HOURS!

AGGRAVATION #1.
This Tuesday I went to the post office in my hometown in New Jersey to get a single money order because I needed to get excess cash from selling my belongings for my move to AZ, into my Scottrade brokerage account .

The postal lady helping me destroyed money order #1, destroyed money order #2, destroyed money order #3, wouldn't listen to me and get help from the guy next to her, destroyed money order #4, destroyed money order #5, wouldn't listen to me to let someone else get me the money order, destroyed money order #6, destroyed money order #7 and FINALLY after 15 minutes and the line growing to 12 or 13 people, she got the guy to come over to figure out what was wrong. The stupid bitch put the ink ribbon in wrong and over the printing mechanism. The guy made the fix and after 7 tries, money order #8 worked like a charm!

Photos attached.

AGGRAVATION #2.
I went to the local Scottrade office after getting the money order to make the deposit into my account. Never been to this office before as I don't live in the area. Stopped in and a nice gentleman came over to help me. He took my money order, filled out a receipt and told me it would be in my account within the next 20 minutes. We began chatting along with another Scottrade employee about how I used to go to the movie theater that used to be there as a kid when I lived in town and how everything had changed so much since 1970. I then left after some chit chat and went out visiting friends.
It was NOT in my account and I had to call the service center in St Louis because the local office forgot to enter the deposit. No matter what I do in life, there always seems to be some small wrinkle or issue that doesn't go right. Really aggravating!

TO THE RIGHT MOTHER****ERS!

I blame Walmart for putting entrances on the left, but for at least a hundred years we have had an understood tradition of baring to the right when meeting someone going the opposite direction in a hall, aisle or doorway.

TO THE RIGHT!

I usually get naked on the left. You apparently "bare" to the right, but I'm not sure that it is an understood tradition to disrobe in a particular direction.

But you're correct regarding direction. I usually traverse in the right side and allow opposing traffic to pass on my left.

People like this. Wow, talking about being a buddy****er!

Mauled cop was riding mountain bike at full speed when he hit grizzly

Brad Treat, 38, was descending the "Outer Trail" of the Green Gate Trails in the Flathead National Forest between 1:30 and 2 p.m. June 29 when he rounded a blind curve and collided with the grizzly, according to a Board of Review Report.

Treat was traveling at an estimated 20-25 mph when the accident occurred. There were no tire skids or evasive steering that would indicate that he immediately saw the bear. He hit the animal at full-speed and flew over the handlebars, fracturing his wrists and his left shoulder blade when he tried to break his fall.

When Treat's companion, who was not identified, came upon the scene, the "very big, brownish-black" bear with "bristled up" fur was standing over Trent. The fellow rider reported that he had heard the bear cry out, making a sound "like it was hurt."

The companion froze, not knowing what to do. Neither man was carrying bear spray, a firearm or a cellphone.

According to the board report, the companion left to seek help because he did not feel comfortable trying to get the bear off Trent.
The companion carried his bike through the forest to reach a highway about a mile away and then flagged down a vehicle.

Treat was dead by the time responders arrived. His helmet was reportedly bitten to pieces, but no part of his body was eaten by the bear, indicating that the encounter probably was not a predatory attack.

I'm not really sure what the friend could have done that wouldn't have ended up with him getting killed as well. Should have been armed.

I agree, bears are ****ing fast too. No reason for me to intervene, maybe get about 40 ft and start throwing rocks? Hop on the bike and jet once he chases you? No thanks. Hope he tasted delicious for you buddy bear.

If the bear just killed him and didn't eat him, is this technically a road rage death?

It probably would've helped if he had ridden his bike for help instead of carrying it. Maybe he was afraid of colliding with another bear.

The bear is going to be on trial, and it'll say, "I was just walking in the forest and boom! This guy comes out of nowhere and hits me. I was just acting in self-defense."

He definitely had bear arms, but were they registered? He killed a man with them and there's no evidence that this was anything other than a tragic accident. Was the bear even in a crosswalk?

I think that bear is going away for a long time. But the good news is that he'll probably own his entire cell block and get everyone else's cornbread.
