I don't think it's likely, especially right now. But ya never know. Weird shit happens in & around draft weekend and the months leading up to it.

Right now, it looks like they both need QBs, but one could grab Manning & the other might get a FA QB like Orton in lieu of drafting one.

That said, I don't think we'd take RG3 even if he's there at 11/12. I desperately hope I'm wrong, though...

This. So so this. With Pioli, it doesn't matter where our pick is and the pool of available players, Pioli can reach huge at anytime. I fully expect another 'system' player at our 11th pick. The guy is a clown.

Jackson has come around so it's not nearly as bad a pick considering the draft was very weak.

Yes, he screwed up early ... namely Haley and Cassel. He's not a bad GM though. He's corrected one mistake, now if he just corrects the 2nd one then he will be doing ok.

you're right ... i was pissed about McCluster too, was definitely a reach.

getting a 3rd cornerback/kick returner at the bottom of the 2nd wasn't much of a reach though.

McCluster had 850 yards from scrimmage in his second year.

That's not bad from a second rounder.

He is basically a smaller version of Darren Sproles that totally came alive once Orton was the quarterback.

Teams have to respect your ability to attack past 10 yards for a guy like him to be really productive.

Anyone that wants to disagree with that should look at Darren Sproles stats and averages through his first two years and compare them to Dexters.

I would rather have drafted Cody or Clausen at that pick, but the direction we went hasn't pissed me off as badly as it has some others here.
