PB and I don't have the same source, but I heard the same thing a few days go. Mine is someone from the AD's office.

In addition to that, I was told Weis may be gone as early as November if this season starts off as a complete disaster.

Since there is discussion of Weis being gone after this year, seems like a good time to post this.

Weis will go to houston

KU will stay in the toilet

I told the source they hired that guy from Rice to be head coach. "That's not who's getting the job" was the response. I'll give a month of free avatar to you (nothing in return) if Bowen is not the next HC.
Not asking for anything, just thought the info was interesting because I've always kind of felt Weis was a 3-4 year coach at max.

Eventually the turn around will come. KU is seemingly at least trying to get a football program going.

That's about as positive as I can be right now.

Me too, but he does have a 5-year deal and he's got 7.5m left on it. He does have a lot of money but the last two years are guaranteed at 5.0m so it's hard to walk away from that. I've heard he's looking at 1.0m and that Bowen is the next HC not the new guy from Rice.

Doing the park and ride for $1 from the stadium. Thanks.

This is really the first year I don't 'know' anyone going to school their who lives next to the stadium. Past years I've had friends or their siblings who lived blocks from the stadium and I would just park there and walk.

I am now relegated to being a standard civilian who was being lured into $20 parking...

I am out of the loop. I am feeling old.

us: No shit, I was hoping for better out of Weis.

us: We still need a damn QB, until we can score points, we have nothing.

KSU fan: You guys suck.

us: No shit, I was hoping for better out of Weis.

us: Yay?

us: Look at these recruits. I bet we still suck.

MU fan in a barely literate dumbass attempt at trolling: YOu guys aren't likegood and stu>ff; SEC ROLEZ

I'm a KU fan, I was just making a joke. I'm glad I'm not the only one who isn't in denial about the football program.

I didn't accuse you of being an MU fan, but that's pretty much how the thread has went.

Homerism left after the first year of Turner Gill.

Its game day. I'll be on campus at three tailgaiting. Excited to see the new offense. We should get this W today. If not Charlie can take his ball and go home today for all I care.
