I watched Shutter Island over the weekend. I didn't expect much after hearing so many negative things about it, but I liked it a lot. I guess I'm in the minority, but I thought it was very good.
It was pretty easy to guess the plot twists pretty early on, but I think that almost adds to it. |

Yeah my thoughts as well. Kinda one of those rare good horror movies you would catch on USA Up All Night. Campy but good.
Spoiler!

If your looking for another sleeper, straight to video film like 'Triangle', check out another Red Box movie called "The Cry of the Owl'. I liked it even a little better than Triangle because that seemed to cop a Twilight Zone ending too easily.
As far as Shutter Island, it's been a little while since I've seen it but I thought it would of been better if Leo was really a cop and they had convinced him he was crazy. At the end after everything had taken place, Ben Kingsley leans over to the nurse and said to go hide his badge and gun, or something like that. |

Alice in Wonderland was cool - I enjoyed it much more than I thought I would. I kind of regret not seeing it in the theater.

Just finished 25th Hour. I liked it, but didn't get the point of the film. I gotta think on this one. Why did Siragusa roll on Monty?
