Movies

Yeah, so I saw a lot of movies this weekend.

Elizabeth: The Golden Age - Mediocre, at best. Slow and dragged on. Shorten it to 2 hours and it's golden. It's not, so it fails.

Michael Clayton - Amazing. Everything about it is awesome. However, it's VERY complex and mind bending. You have to think, so be prepared. I still feel like I'm missing key details of exactly what happened. Gotta see it again.

Across the Universe - Perfect is one word that comes to mind. It just works. And, contrary to many people I bet, the movie is best viewed sober. Trust me.

I must have been the only one that liked prince of persia. It was a fun action adventure flick that kept me entertained and i really liked the ending

Saw Take Him to The Greek and Killers this weekend. Greek was dumb as hell, not really funny at all. That fat kid and that english guy aren't big enough to carry their own in a movie, they are better suited in supporting roles. Killers was great. I loved it, good to take your girl to. Funny, action.

Wow, that's surprising to hear. I thought Killers looked like a total crap fest on the commercials.

Just a wild guess, but it looks like VT is pulling a CoMo here, KHttG is at 75% and Killers at 15% on rottentomatoes, with Killers haters hatin' HARD!! And the supporters saying such glowing things as 'you could do worse' and 'an acceptable time-waster that just barely gets the job done."

I enjoyed it. I did. But like I said, it was kinda lame. There was a hell of a lot of people that got ****ed up, but it was still Disney. There was very little blood. Like comically little blood. It doesn't need to be over the top like 300, but be reasonable. Dude gets hacked up by a big nasty sword, there's probably going to be blood somewhere. On the victim, on the sword, somewhere. And a lot of the action was pretty over the top unbelievable.

Spoiler!

But overall, I did enjoy it. I didn't go in expecting Braveheart, so it pretty much met my expectations.

I watched "True Romance" again the other night. I'd forgotten just how much I enjoy that movie. (Hell of a cast, and great writing.)

I know it's mentioned here fairly often... but I hadn't seen it in a long while.

Great flick.

It painfully obvious the chick is a dude. Lame. I hope the twist is that she actually isn't a dude.

1. Manly facial features
2. Huge hands
3. Deep voice
4. Jody smiled when Fergus touched his dick
5. Jody said that Judy wasn't his type or didn't really fancy her type, meaning he was gay
6. Anytime the movie is mentioned someone posts
7. Te barkeeper almost mentioned something about her

Halfway in and I already figured it out. ROR and patteeu are getting begged for this.

That was a movie you had to see back when it first came out. Anyone who has seen Stargate would know the chick was a dude from the beginning now.
