Yeah I'll believe it when I see it. I remember when he first went back to Cleveland he was excited to play in blatts Princeton offense. ...a month into the season, they scrapped that offense and played Lebron ball. Same thing almost happened in Miami until Pat Riley put his foot down.

that was when Lebron wanted no part of Spo and asked Riley when he was going to come coach him lol

Lebron is going to chew up Luke Walton and spit him out so fast.

Wow, I wonder what it's like to be you? You know everything about the NBA. You know how to GM a team from top to bottom. You know how every player is going to play and how every team is going to do before it happens. For all we know you are probably an old school NBA legend with a couple of rings! I don't speak for everybody of course, but I personally hope to hear your thoughts on everything NBA wise. Please don't ever leave us hanging when there's any new developments in the NBA. Wow I just might be talking to greatness...

I know youre being sarcastic for a Lakers homer but the first part of what I said actually happened. Pat Riley is on record for it. All you have to do is use this thing called Google to look it up.

Second part is my opinion, based on history of Lebron and coaches there is a good chance Luke Walton gets the Blatt treatment.

If Lebron stays silent in Cleveland for all those years, the GM/owner/coach probably surrounds him with bullshit no better than the teams he had up to that point.

Jordan was very fortunate to be a part of a team that was well-run and knew how to acquire and develop their own players. Hell, I'll even call him damn ****ing lucky. It would be interesting to see the narrative on Jordan and how history might have been different on him had he been placed with a putrid franchise that never could acquire Pippen, Rodman, Harper, or any of those other guys.

That's not a mark against what he accomplished. If you've got good fortune, it's not your job to attempt to change it just so you can offer indisputable proof to history that you really were all that you were cracked up to be.

Likewise, doesn't it make sense that if you get drafted by the ****ing Cleveland Cavaliers and the best offensive help you get offered by your team in the first 5-6 years of your career is Mo ****ing Williams, is it really your job to sit there holding your dick trying to make Boobie Gibson, Wally Sczerbiak, and Anderson Verejao work as good as Pippen, Rodman, and company did for Jordan?

MJ would have been fine where ever he went. The Bulls were trash before he got there. He helped develop Pippen and pushed the others on his team to the max. They even talk on his SportsCentury how he was the Bulls real HC now Phil Jackson. I think that is a bit of an exaggeration but it does show the type of influence he had.

Correct. If anyone doesnt see the difference in the mentality of MJ amd Lebron at this point you have your head square up your ass. SNRs post sounds eerie similar to something Sandy Cheeks may post in regards to Alex Smith.....Excuses and whatifs.

MJ had the talent, and the drive due to his killer instinct. The talent's there with James, but he seems to have to motivate himself into mentally having what it takes to go in for the kill. He may have only had it a few times. I recall his mood being pretty serious after Miami lost their first shot, and had a chance to win it a year later

That's not the point. Your team can be trash when you arrive, but it's about getting players AFTER you arrive that matters whether or not you can win a championship.

And when Lebron was a rookie up until he left for Miami, the team did jack ****ing shit in the draft, nor were they very active in free agency (at least up until they signed Mo Williams and old broke dick Shaq).

I don't think Michael could have won rings with that crew in Cleveland when he was Lebron's age, either. And I know BigCatDaddy is going to disagree, because he loves to blow his legacy way out of proportion in the name of hating on Lebron, but he's an idiot on this matter.

Jordan never won a single playoff series without Scottie Pippen.

This is so misleading. For one, before Pippen, he was a young guy going against an All-Time great team in Boston, while putting up ridiculous numbers and being called “God” by Bird.

Also, Pippen wasn’t even a starter and averaged 7 ppg in year one. He was hardly the reason MJ got over the hump.

The irony is, it’s always the Lebron defenders making excuses for his failures and Jordan’s success that leads to the weak “didn’t win a playoff game until Pippen” argument.
