In this draft, you can do the same with WRs.

They didn't win the SB and the OL didn't step up and make big plays in crunch time when it mattered. You can build a SB quality line in rounds 3-5. You don't have to waste picks on broke dicks like fisher.

the lineman available at our pick in the first are much greater prospects than the wr's that will be available.
Isn't Eric fisher a 1st round pick anchoring that OL. You're not helping your case here.

In a couple of years, what would you rather have? An average offensive line with excellent receivers? Or an excellent offensive line with average receivers. The Chiefs need to improve on OL. But they will do just fine if they march out 5 average players. Playmakers win you Super Bowls. The only place you can find them is the draft unless you spend an ungodly amount in free agency.

First few rounds needs to be playmakers. Later rounds needs to be OL. You don't need elite OL. You just need to stop marching out garbage. "Average" will do just fine.

maclin is such the perfect FA for the chiefs...and only 26

this gives us great freedom in the draft, though I still hope we draft a wr in the first 3 picks...agholor in the 2nd, lockett/hardy in the 3rd

we can go true best available at the 18th...even roll the dice on DGB with less short-term risk, etc...

This draft is pretty deep at pass rusher too, if one of those fell, it'd be hard to pass up I guess.

where eric was drafted is irrelevant... if we have maclin we have a top 10 wr, and a top 10 te... and theres still a chance we could keep bowe... but we will still have 5 offensive lineman who are all below average at best.

what wr do you specifically want to take in round 1? the big three are gone. the next best we could hope for would be jalen strong or dgb... strong isn't much better than guys who will be there in the second and third. and dgb is a boom bust.

why not give our selves the best shot at finding a good lineman, by taking one in the first, when we already have maclin, kelce, charles, and 5 shitbag linemen?

Wow, I didn't know he was 26. He seems to have been in the NFL forever.

He will keep those safetys out of the middle of the field. This should open up more lanes for Kelce and running lanes for Charles. This is a slam dunk FA pickup.

We need to go with DGB. Playmakers win Super Bowls, not excellent O-lines. Roll the dice.

With Houston here that wouldn't be good. Just took ford last year.
