Don't want to read too much into the conversation but just watched Andy on M&M this morning and he made it clear that Alex was the QB. Mentioned that he could still play, was at the Pro Bowl (

), and can do all the things he wants his guy to do.

In essence, we can put any talk of Tony Romo, Nick Foles, or any other retread to bed. But, they did talk about college system QBs briefly (no one specific), and he said that as long as they feel like a guy can learn, it is their job to transition a college system QB and that it doesn't effect their decision on which type to take.

So, will we draft a QB? Idk, my bet is on yes since Foles is apparently gone.

There's a safety shadowing Tyreek and has his eyes on Smith how is that even considered to be open? The ball would be in the air for at least 2.5 seconds, plenty of time for that safety to snag a pick. Stupid asses.

Holy shit Reek, Kelce and the receiver at the bottom were all open at different times during that play and Alex missed all of them.

After checking the seam to Hill, his progression should have went to Kelce on the curl seeing the zone coverage. When he flushes right, scramble rules apply so then he should have seen West (I think) turn his flat route to a wheel. Rolling/scrambling right and West has 2+ yards on his man. THROW IT.

yep, alex leads Tyreek correctly, there is 0 chance the safety gets there. NO way in hell he keeps up with tyreek. Impossible.

QB just throws it at the spot (probably somewhere in the endzone) to lead the WR, based on the WR's trajectory and speed he is traveling and factoring in the time the ball is in the air, there is literally NO way any defender behind him is making up that distance. HE HAS EVERYONE BEAT. It is literally textbook football.

Only way it fails if the pass is under thrown or the WR has to stop to catch it. Which are both possible with Alex Smith at QB. Which is why he probably was afraid to make that throw in the first place lol.

Basic geometry and vision would tell you the safety is 5+ yards to the left of Hill and he's not at a full speed run in any direction. If Alex leads Hill to the right, Hill makes an easy grab. If Alex sees Kelce, it's an easy short pickup. If Alex doesn't panic he has the RB breaking open downfield.

Apparently Alex and Tigger had the same geometry teacher.

Geometry? Jesus H. This isn't even Kinematics. It's more like Dynamics (or Kinetics for old farts). There's alot more that goes into that guy making a play on the ball than geometrical position.
