It's more like Gilbert ass kisses LeBron's Entourage, something Miami and Pat Riley wouldn't do.

Kyrie is an excellent ballhandler. Without Kyrie, Lebron is literally the only guy that can bring the ball up the court. Delly was terrible in this series. Kyrie can play iso and he's excellent at it. Takes a ton of the load of Lebron. Kyrie is an excellent three point shooter and can create his own shots. Two things the Cavs didn't have without Lebron. Kyrie is also an underrated defender. Love is not a good defender. His rebounding is nice, but Tristan has a bigger impact on the boards. Literally his only impact in the series is spacing and hitting 3 point shots. And even there, Kyrie was better from 3 point range than Love. No doubt whatsoever that Kyrie was much more badly missed than Love. |

If I'm Dan Gilbert, I kiss LeBron's ass/entourage ass as well. Why wouldn't you? LeBron takes the Cavs value from like $600M to $1.5B. He's literally a $900M asset right now. At least. If Gilbert wanted to sell with LeBron on the team he'd get back whatever he wanted.

historically yes, you're right but, as the Spurs showed, and even Miami the past few years ... the three is here to stay it's like how the NFL has evolved into a totally different game than it was in 1990 |

Which is unfortunate. Because, sorry, but Lebron is shitty shitty shitty at personnel calls. He brought in Love, Miller, Jones, and Marion. Lobbied for Ray Allen. Griffin brought in Mozgov, Shumpert, and Smith. Pretty clear who won. It's not just this year... Lebron sunk the Cavs his first go-around too with his personnel decisions. |
