And it appears that KC pitching had nothing to do with their "anemic offense".

Feels like the 2006 World Series. More talented team loses because it basically forgets how play baseball and the other team has 2 or 3 really, really good players.

Hooray for "mediocre starting pitching". You know...the ones that held your team to fewer than 7 hits the past 2 games.

Good news is, with Queens being, well, Queens. They stand a really good chance of getting those 2015 Mets WS champs shirts delivered to them anyway.

Yep, they had the bases loaded with no outs, and only got one run. The series win isn't so inexplicable when you consider that one team consistently brought home runners in scoring position, and the other team relied on a bunch of solo homeruns. Our pitching limited them throughout.

The Mets are the least talented team we played in the past 2 postseasons. Their starting pitching is awesome, but it's overrated due to facing NL competition. If you go position by position, we are literally better than them at Catcher, 1B, 2B, SS, 3B, CF, and LF. Only Granderson v Rios goes in their favor. Factor in the bullpens and the fact that our DH is Morales, and their "DH" batted ninth, and the only surprise is that the games were this close.

We had a hell of a roster this year.

When you get blown out by 5 runs in an extra innings game, clearly your 2-run lead going into the 9th was the more valuable indicator of who the better team was.

What a bunch of ****ing reeruns. New York is a ****ing cesspool. I hope those dipshits read everything we're saying about them. They need to know how much they suck. They're not a self-aware people.

When they hit that homerun last night I turned to my wife and said, "I'm not worried...that's all they have. They did the same thing last night. We'll be fine."

I didn't like that we gave up that homer, but I wasn't worried.

The Mets made it to the World Series because Chase Utley did the unthinkable, which ruined the Dodgers clubhouse vibe and the 100 game winning Cards, who should have been a lock for the World Series, shit the bed against the Cubs. The Cubs completely fell apart, hence Mets in the World Series.

Often times, baseball is about matchups and the Mets were fortunate that they didn't have to face Pittsburgh or St. Louis. If they had, they've have been out early.

Furthermore, while their starting pitching is good (I'm not going to say "Great", like all of the Mets fans believe), their defense sucks, hence all the errors and they're not a hitting team. Without the acquisition of Cespedes at the trade deadline and Murphy coming alive in the playoffs, the Mets are a 78 game winner. They couldn't do dick against the Royals "inferior" pitching.

Yet those moronic douchebags think their team is better than the Royals, who won 92 last year, beat Oakland, swept the Angels and Orioles, only to lose in Game 7 of the World Series due to, literally, a Herculean effort by Madison Bumgarner, and follow it up with a 95 win season (going 10-17 in September as Ned dicked around with bozos like Joba Chamberlain and the lineup), only to whip the Mets in Five.

Yeah, complete luck.

Suck it, Mets fans.
