He's a dwindling breed. It's all about the tournament for the majority.

Like any sports with playoffs. College Basketball is no different.

How many great "regular season" NFL teams do you remember?

I actually remember quite a few of them. I love College Basketball. I really do. Just because a good team gets knocked out, doesn't mean that I don't appreciate what they had done all season.

Yeah. You play a best of 7 series with 2010 KU and any other team in America that year, there's not a doubt in my mind that team gets it done. But Northern Iowa got them by 1 shot in one game.

For the casual fan, yeah... I watch just about every game, so a strong non-conference schedule, the 11 conference championships, and even the B12 tournament mean there's 4.5 months of (mostly) good basketball (and then there's last night...).

A good tournament run is always fun, but even with a NC and a few EE/FFs, I've kept my expectations low in recent years.... I wouldn't go as far as saying it's just icing on the cake, but it's definitely not a 'EE/FF/NC or bust' mentality in a single elimination tournament that includes so many teams.

Keep the regular starters, but give Svi and Graham a ton of Wayne and Mason's minutes.

Start the and play the bottom 5. Sub in from the bottom and the starters should never see the court.

Kansas Dook & Kentucky were all identical in the power ratings.

We really can't afford to start the scrubs. If by some fluke they beat te Gooners, those fans will riot like nobody's ever seen. Like, setting fire to the team bus waiting outside.

LOL...you ask this on a Chiefs board? Heh.

A tip of the cap to you fellas that stuck with that game last night. I couldnt bear to watch the Keystone Kops after halftime. I have to say when I heard they won in OT, I had a pretty good laugh.

I don't catch every single game (and of course games like Temple get a quick delete on the DVR), but that loss at TCU a couple years ago was one of a very few that I've turned off once I do have it on... because, Self. I was pretty close last night, but basically left the second half in the background for a while before tuning back in towards the end... and even while they were making the comeback, I was asking myself WTF am I watching this?!.

Great toughness, great emotion (agree with what saphojunkie said in the other thread), terrible basketball. All 400 free throws and 600 missed layups and 300 turnovers and 56000 whistles of it.
