I truly believe that a skill position player, whether it's a CB or WR or TE, needs to be chosen at #18 overall rather than an offensive lineman.

There will be tons of guys on days two and three that can step right in at LG or Right Tackle and provide solid protection.

The only guy out of that group I would really be okay with is Collins.

All of the others can go die in a fire. Don't care, and don't want.

It could be a DB or a WR. But not a ****ing OL. 1-2 should be impact players. 3-5 you can load up on OL.

I don't see him as a plus-athlete at the position. If he was then I would have no problem with it, but he isn't.

not sure if you were under a rock last year, but did you see our oline? it was horrendous... and now hudson is likely gone, and we will have maclin.

white, parker, and cooper will all be gone when we pick, but beyond them there are a whole heap of very solid wrs to be had in the 2nd and beyond. agholor, greene, lockett, mayle, hardy, mcbride, etc.

the lineman available at our pick in the first are much greater prospects than the wr's that will be available.

Exactly.

Dorsey's strategy is consistent with what the Seahawks are doing. The difference is, the Seahawks are getting great finds in the late rounds of the draft. Dorsey has not. I'm ok with the job Dorsey's doing, but he's got to make better decisions at OL. His strategy is fine. It's picking the wrong players that's the problem.

Thats just shoehorning themselves though. Corner wouldn't be a bad idea, but if a potential all pro player is sitting there at 18, you take him, no matter what position he plays (minus kicker etc). I don't know who that will be though.

If the top 3 Wr prospects are gone, I'd kick that can till the later rounds. TE wouldn't be a terrible idea nor would corner.

I think ILB and the ones available there are going to be right in the money spot.
