As a fair weather Bears fan it was pretty fun flipping through the channels a while ago and seeing their huge win at UNI. What a clutch shots. With another win at the Shockers house and a big game with Indiana St. coming up...they are 6-0 in the conference. Could this be the year the bears get in the tourney?

Which is why I made the point of mentioning it was a down year for the MVC. There were no teams anywhere near as good as UNI (or that Drake team of three years ago). How is that hard to understand?

Because at this point last year you wouldnt be saying UNI is a great team.

Why are you changing the goal posts? Why must you make up things in these conversations?

It is not what I take pride in.

You inferred that Missouri has not played a close game against Kansas when that is not the case, the result only showed a difference of 4 points. Nothing more nothing less.

Except that isn't the case at all, and you can check my posts last year if you want to. I was worried about UNI the day the brackets were made. #9 was an underseed for a top 25 KenPom team.

I just assumed you came in here to shit on everything that wasn't Kansas greatness. Hence my snide remark. Personally, I'm pretty new to the scene down here, and it was a disappointing day. My #1 team has completely fallen apart, and now MSU chokes, which I guess is normal, but since I've never really paid attention it's pretty new to me. Sucks.

Goal posts? All I said was that there was no great team in the MVC this season. No team that dominated the conference and no team that would make it in as an at-large (as UNI would have last year and as Drake did three years ago). You chose to turn this into an argument by bringing up my irrelevant KU fanship, as you are always prone to do. It gets tiring.

And in the course of that conversation you inferred Mizzou hasn't played a close game against Kansas. Which isn't the case. #1. No, I don't consider a game close unless the outcome is in doubt at any point. Not that this is relevant to anything in this thread.

FWIW, Washington will do fine in the NCAA, I expect. They're not a good road team, but you don't have to be on neutral courts.

I"m not a big basketball fan to begin with, and I don't think I've watched a SLU game since they were at the old Opera House.

I follow MSU through the Valley tournament, and that's about it.
