As far as if Alex was the Chief's QB last year, I don't know that your W-L would still be garbage. I mean, I just don't know. I would ask, how many times did Cassel turn over the ball? Alex doesn't tend to. He is fundamentally sound.
2010 TD/INT ratio made Cassel a pro bowl alternate.

no mention of the 3 drops by Crabtree, or how the defense got absolutely TORCHED in the second half, and left Alex Smith to have to carry the team in the last half of the 4th quarter. Doesn't matter that the offense they were playing was the number one offense in the league with a hall of fame qb.

About 190 of those yards were generated by Alex Smith.
