As I said before the Thanos interpretation of a villain was want Marvel wanted to do with Spader's Ultron, but Disney wanted him to be more family friendly. Hence the part time comic relief.

I'll chalk that one up to it being Cap's movie. They wanted to show him love. Doesn't make it any less bullshit.
You have a lot of hate for the Cap....what's that about?

He's a little bit less rigid. There doesn't seem to be all that much complexity to him. Maybe part two will somehow change that

I thought they did a good job with the side character villians Ebony Maw and Proxima. too. although they didnt explain them much, but they were appropriately evil and weaselly.

Not sure why they would hire 'Carrie Coon' to play Proxima though? She not a big name, but shes a name.

BTW, did you guys find it amusing that Thanos was essentially the Richmond Valentine of the universe . Since Sam Jackson was the character in the Kingsmen

A couple amusing things MCU has done.

Obviously SLJ's tribute to the word "mutha****a" right when evaporates...because who says it better than him right?

And in Winter Soldier, when Nick Fury "dies", the scene where they're at Fury's grave site, and on his tombstone it reads "Path of the Righteous Man Ezekiel 25:17" which obviously is a nod to his Pulp Fiction character.

I find it weird that Josh Brolin plays Cable AND Thanos. Only because they're both in the same "active" MCU currently.

And I dont know if anyone noticed... But the Russo bros were known for their work on the show Arrested Development (one of the funniest shows of all time btw)...and in IW when the Guardians arrive at Nowhere and run into Thanos and the Collector to prevent Thanos from collecting the Reality stone, those (what appear to be) human storage pods, similar to the one the Collector was thrown into by Thanos....

Well if you looked closely in one of the pods, when the camera shot focuses in on the scene when they're first quietly sneaking up on the action, only for a few secs, you see Tobias Funke's Blue Man, eye glasses jean cutoffs and all. Hilarious. (pic is blurry, but in the movie you can see it).

Cable is in Deadpool which is FOX and not part of the MCU. They could retroactive put Deadpool and the X-men into the MCU, but currently they are not.

Because the amount of focus and character development on Proxima was very minimal at best. She was only there to fight in a few scenes and to say a few lines. Plus she's a character who uses a lot of makeup, so the human face is covered which means you can essentially use anyone. I guess they had to save money where they could considering the amount of names in this movie.

If you wanna get technical about it sure...my main point was they're both current active villain bosses played by the same actor, coming out roughly around the same time. It's not like Keaton playing Vulture, when he was Batman 30 yrs ago...or Chris Evans as Human Torch 13yrs ago in a disasterous F4 franchise that nobody really even remembers or cares about anymore.

A film that actually lives up to the hype. That was epic.

Sure, keep reminding everyone that the fantastic four isn't involved in the IW
