Staten still has the ability to attack and get to the rim in a way nobody else on that team has. They were playing to stay in front of him at WVU, but he just sped right past Mason anyway. The problem there was not having Jamari back.

I think that if KU were at home there would be a good chance Self did something weird like that and played back ups the entire game.

But it's on the road and yet another chance to secure a #2 seed. Right now Lunardi has OK, ISU, Maryland and Notre Dame all as the #3's. KU can still get dropped by one of them IMO. Notre Dame has Louisville tonight and Maryland has been going nuts lately.

Then again KU and UK are still way ahead of everyone else in RPI so maybe the idea of dropping to a #3 is near impossible. Especially with the committee knowing that KU has clinched.

So sure, go ahead and play Garrett Saturday. Why not?

Lose @ OU and potentially win one in the B12 tournament would still lead me to believe a #2 seed is likely.

I wouldnt be upset with a three seed though.

I just think rest, for majority of the squad, if they can possibly make a run is absolutely necessary against OU.
